We are all hoping for an uneventful outcome to the current Oroville Dam situation. However in the event of a major crisis, please see the information below provided by our friends at the California Arts Council.

Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+): The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) has emergency relief grants and interest-free loans available for eligible artists working in craft disciplines. Guidelines and eligibility are available on the CERF+ website. The application process is quick and easy, with a rapid response of 2 weeks to give artists the help they need as soon as possible. cerfplus.org

The Joan Mitchell Foundation: The Joan Mitchell Foundation’s Emergency Grant Program is available for painters and sculptors who have suffered physical losses due to a natural disaster that relate to their artistic practice. Click here to learn more. joanmitchellfoundation.org
