Introducing APPLAUSE, a new series that will present some of America’s best-loved musicals and singalongs, concert-style, at the Lee Burrows Center for the Arts in Marysville. The series, which will offer five shows on five weekends from March through November 2015, is a joint project and fundraiser for the Sutter Performing Arts Association and Yuba Sutter Arts. These concert-style musicals will feature popular local performers – triple-threat actors, singers and dancers. Many of the five productions in this first season of APPLAUSE will include guest performers who grew up in our community, but now reside and work in Los Angeles, New York, internationally and other performing art hot spots in pursuit of their passion: THEATER!.
