Auditions for Stage 754 “Wait Until Dark”

Wait Until Dark is a classic suspense thriller play by Frederick Knott about a blind housewife, Susy Hendrix, who is terrorized in her Greenwich Village apartment by criminals searching for heroin hidden in a doll. The criminals, led by the cunning Roat, try to trick Susy into revealing the doll’s location, but she uses her blindness as an advantage, turning the tables on them in a final, suspenseful showdown that takes place in the dark. The play, which premiered on Broadway in 1966, is famous for its tension and was adapted into a well-known 1967 film starring Audrey Hepburn.
