Thanks to a generous grant from the California Department of Parks & Recreation, YSAC is able to host monthly outings to local scenic locations including the Sutter Buttes, Table Mountain, and the Truckee/Donner Pass area. The trips are led by professional science teachers and naturalists along with a teaching artist who leads nature journaling and sketching sessions. All art supplies and snacks are provided free of charge.
