    Hello I would like to add an event to the event calender it is “She Loves Me” the musical at the Marysville Auditorium presented by the students from the Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts the production runs- March 23-April 1 Fridays ,saturday at 7 pm and sunday matinees at 2 pm cost 10 dollars and 5 for students and groups phone 749-6155

  8. Would you please post the REACH Coalitions 2nd Annual REACH Choice Awards & Benefit Dinner taking place September 29, 6-9 pm at the Allyn Scott Youth & Community Center. This red carpet event honors community members, leaders, businesses, and more for their work in making a better community for our youth.

    Sierra Nevada Winds Presents “East Meets West–An Asian Adventure”
    The Sierra Nevada Winds Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Robert Halseth, opens its 23rd season with a musical journey through the Orient. Featured selections include “Fantasy on Sakura Sakura” by Ray Cramer, “Variations on a Korean Folk Song” by John Barnes Chance, and the monumental, hilarious composition of American composer Eric Whitacre, “Godzilla Eats Las Vegas.”

    This unique and entertaining concert will take place on Saturday, November 17, 8:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 3101 Colusa Hwy., Yuba City, 95993.     Nov 2 Community Memorial Museum @ 7 p.m.
    Nov 3 Yuba County Library @ 4 p.m.

    Also the Poe informational “bookmark” incorrectly lists The Poe Show at Sutter Co. Library.

    Please add to January calendar:

    “India’s Imaginary Menagerie” features Aondreaa the Storytailor and Marilyn the Muse presenting five ancient fables from India. The endangered status of India’s signature wildlife (rhino, elephant, tiger, crocodile) is highlighted through dramatic telling of traditional tales. Music, costume and staging enhance the performance.

    One show only: Friday January 18, at the Community Memorial Museum, 6:30 p.m. Free admission. Suitable for children and adults of all ages.
