The Yuba-Sutter Regional Arts Council will be hosting a potluck to encourage networking, sharing, and opportunities for local artists the first Tuesday of every month, 6pm – 9pm.
Meet other artists in the area, socialize, and eat. The Arts Council will provide artist opportunities that we’ve collected, and artists are encouraged to bring any information about opportunities they know of as well. All artists are welcome to come!
FAQs
What should I bring? A dish to share, if you are able to do so, but if you can’t because of time or money, please come anyway – we always have plenty of food to share. Also, bring your ideas and your contact info (business cards, recent exhibition postcards, etc.). A few photos of your artwork would be okay, too, as it’s sometimes easier to share a photo of your work than try and explain it in words.
What does it cost? Do I have to be a member of the Arts Council to participate? It’s free to artists and creative folks. You do NOT have to be a member of the Arts Council to participate.
What’s the big idea with this? We felt it would be a good way for local artists to get to know each other, trade ideas, learn about upcoming opportunities, and just be with like-minded people for a few hours.
