The Borgamaria Lyric Opera Company productions are under the direction of Joaquina Calvo Johnson. She is in the midst of her seventh year as Artistic Director of the Borgamaria Lyric Opera Company, and brings a distinguished career as a conductor, performing artist, teacher and clinician.
The Borgamaria Lyric Opera performs a Spring and Fall Opera Scene each year, with auditions posted a few months before the performance dates. Otherwise, interested singers may arrange an audition by calling the Yuba-Sutter Regional Arts Council at (530) 742-2787.
