Inward Significance
October 25th – November 14th, 2012
Artists’ Reception: Saturday, November 3, 5-7pm
The Yuba-Sutter Regional Arts Council is proud to feature artwork from The Easter Seals Fine Arts Studio ACE-IT III program from October 25th through November 14th.
“Inward Significance” features work from a number of gifted artists in our community with physical and or mental challenges. These challenges have not hindered their ability to express themselves in a variety of artistic mediums; the inability to hold a paintbrush in the traditional way has not stopped some of these artists. The use of fingers and hands or even knuckles is a means to the end result.
Please join us at the Artists’ Reception on Saturday, November 3rd from 5-7pm. Light refreshments will be served and the artists will be present. Free admission for the entire duration of the show.

Artisans Presence

From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., this show and sell event will feature about 20 local artists at the Yuba-Sutter Regional Arts Council gallery, 624 E Street in Marysville. The event is free and open to the public.
Previously called the Holiday Arts Faire, the show always takes place on the third Saturday of November. There are still a few booth spaces available for artists who would like to participate. Fee is $25 for members of the Yuba-Sutter Regional Arts Council and $35 for non members. Come by the Arts Council office for an application to participate or phone (530)742-ARTS for more information.
The Women’s Creative Circle (WCC) is a program of the Yuba Sutter Regional Arts Council. The purpose of the organization is to gather creative minds together for inspiration, mentoring, sharing and teaching. You need not be a fine artist to be a part of this organization. WCC usually meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at various locations. Contact Chairwoman Jan Frink by email homemadejam@yahoo.com to find out about the next meeting or go to www.facebook.com/WomensCreativeCircle.
